So this was my first Friday Night Magic event. About 7pm my friend Allen called and asked if we were still on for going to Paragon Gaming. I agreed and we headed out. While he was running down to Dollar General, I grabbed us a table and waited.
Just a few minutes later I had a guy name Scott ask if I was looking to play a match. I told him I was and was waiting on Allen to get back. He was ok with that and while waiting a guy named Samuel asked if he could join in. About that time Allen made it back and we started our game about 7:45pm-ish. Finished up right about 10pm. And for once, I won. Yay!
It was a weird feeling walking into a place and having people saying stuff like “Hey Chris! Glad to see you back.” Or people I played with last Saturday seeing me and saying hi and actually remembering my name.
