Well, another successful Saturday at Paragon Gaming. 
I ended up at the store around noon, with the Commander Role Variant tournament not starting until 2pm. But, I used the time before hand to mostly finish sorting my entire collection. It’s all alphabetical, just need to go and sort the individual letter blocks into their respective sets.
At 2pm the Commander Role Variant kicked off. The Role Variant is basically the Treachery Variant. Paragon just calls it ‘Role’ for some reason. Basically, it’s 6 players (2 teams). 1 Paragon/Leader, 2 Guardians (protectors of the Paragon/Leader), and 3 Usurpers/Assassins. The Paragon and Guardians are one team, the 3 Usurpers are the other team. The game ends when one team is dead.
The first game I was on the Usurpers team. We lost. But the second game, I brought out the Draconic Rage deck. Which was a fantastic choice since I ended up drawing the Paragon card. After about 6 rounds we were able to figure out who was who and then the teamwork started. Me and my Guardians were able to work together and eventually won. The prize was a Blooomburrow booster pack. Not bad.
It was definitely a fun time and met even more new people. I think I might start doing Paragon on Saturdays, and Warcraft on Sundays. That way I get out and socialize more.
