So, I got home from my doctor’s appointment about an hour ago. Doctor’s office drew blood and made me pee in a cup to do labs just to confirm his suspicions. Diagnosis is Hypertension Stage 1 and Type-2 Diabetic. So I’m on Lisinopril and Rasouvastatin for the blood pressure and Metformin for the diabetes. The urine sample was to check my kidney function to make sure the high A1C hasn’t damaged my kidneys.
While I was at Walmart getting those prescriptions filled, when I did the consult to see if I had questions, she asked me about several vaccines I was showing behind or due for. So, in addition to all those meds, I got vaccinated for Tetanus, Hep A/B, COVID booster, and since I’m over 50 I got the Pneumococcal pneumonia vaccine.
So, yeah, it’s been a fun day so far. Spent about $45 in Ubers, and another $76 on prescriptions. Yay.
