So, tonight was my first official stream as Stormdragon Gaming. Stream lasted one hour and forty four minutes. I wanted to go longer, but my friend’s dad needed help with his new night vision goggles and I’m the “tech guy”. So he called me.
It was an okay stream. 6 unique viewers, but only 1.1 avg viewers. Yes, I know from other streamers the first bit of getting started is tough. But I took a hit to my self-esteem when I had 2 viewers sitting at the “Starting Soon” screen and the second I went live and turned my cam on, it dropped to 1. Yes, I know I’m fat. I’m not something someone wants to watch for hours on end playing video games. Which is why I may look into going with the animated PNGtuber at some point in the future.
I’m gonna try and stream again tomorrow and see how things go. But, at least I’ve started the ball rolling.
Oh, and I’ve also gotten business cards printed up for Stormdragon Gaming. They have a description of what we are about on the front with our logo. On the back, are all our social links. I figure if I get to talking to someone in the real world about streaming, games, or mental health topics then I can give them one of the cards.
For now, it’s time to curl up in bed with the cat and watch some TV. See you all tomorrow!
