I began my my foray into the world of streaming on September 13th, 2025. That was the first official stream for Stormdragon Gaming.
Initially my plan was to follow and try to get more involved with the big streamers in the hopes of building relationships and collaborations as I worked towards reaching Affiliate status. But, that plan soon fell by the wayside as I came to realize in those streams I got quickly buried under all the existing community members. So for a while I just went it alone, streaming to the void with no echoes back.
One day after scrolling through TikTok I kept seeing videos from other small streamers looking to support each other. I left my Twitch handle on some, but of course no one actually followed from the comments. Big surprise. I think most of those were just farming account names. But, that did inspire me to want to support other small streamers on Twitch. So I begin hunting through the games I played and following and supporting those I saw with low viewer counts.
One of those was Jownsee, who also just happened to be the co-founder of the stream team known as The Lost Tavern. In the time I’ve been watching and supporting him, as well as all the other members of the Tavern, I’ve gotten to know many more fantastic streamers. And they have been just as supportive back. Everything I’ve achieved so far I could not have done without their help. Well, I might have but it would have taken a lot longer. I’m blessed to be involved with all of them.
On January 26th of 2026 I finally hit Affiliate on Twitch and shortly after did my first stream as an Affiliate. Everyone came out to support me and celebrate and it just brought me so much joy.
